How to increase Novascore?

Guys, I'm having a problem.
How do you increase your Novascore?
I've been stuck at the same score forever, and when it gets to those damn short answers, I can't seem to increase it any further.
How?

Personally, I'm sure if you want to increase your score THAT bad you can just cheat like everyone else. Of course, there's a 80/20 chance you could get caught. Otherwise, you could just know your stuff and get a 1300+ easily.

The Novascore breakdown is from 1-1520, and the quiz contains 12 questions.
The first seven are multiple choice, which constitute for 980 points of the quiz. It is essential that you answer these correctly, as the question worth can be as much as 140 points (with range of course considering partial credit.)
The last five are open-ended questions, and these are the questions that make up for the final 540 points. This is why it's easier to increase your score to the 980-1100 mark but much more difficult to raise the bar to 1200+. This is where your tenure, along with expertise comes into question.
The key to answering the open-ended is basically knowing your network. How do you do this? Read up on everything you can, take mental notes, and even experiment yourself with the sources.

Yeah, read up on the TTX source guides. Those will help you in dividends.

Just be smart. It isn't that hard to get over 1100.
