Network Slowdown, what's going on?

what's been up with the slow release of new networks? Are people becoming less motivated to make one? And if so, why is that? Is it because they now realize that it's not that prestigious to make one anymore, or could it be an increase in apathy within the network community?

I don't think network creation is slowing down one bit. Quite a few exist, and more continue to be made.

Have to agree with Lunick on this one. Perfect Net and Hedera are both relatively new releases.

No he's not. There's literally no slowing down in the community. Networks are always popping up every second.

I have to agree. I've seen less and less network since the implosion of the World Cool Experts. Furthermore, I've also like to note that this could also be because of the increase of difficulty with the newer versions of PHPBB. Five, six, and soon seven are/will be very difficult to learn thus losing interest among the general public....food for thought.
