How to use MATH [Part 1] Empty How to use MATH [Part 1]

Post by Danny Sat May 11, 2013 4:39 pm

MATH is a very mathematical programming language which I am here to teach you.

-Addition

Example
Code:

*MATH*
1
+
1
=2
*/MATH*

Addition is where to numbers are combined to make a product. Look at the example, you see that 1 + 1 = 2 written in MATH format. You see, the reason you have to write it in the MATH format is because alot of MATH code can be written in one line to create a product.
Example of what i'm saying.

Code:

*MATH*
1 + 2/2 = 2.0
if 2.0 = 1 + 2/2
then;
=2
*/MATH*

You see that, lets move on. Let's look at another example.

Code:

*MATH*
2
+
2
=4
*/MATH*

The 2's in the code are the factors, or body in the equation.
The + in our code is the property, or function in the equation.
These two things make up a MATH statement. MATH statements are the fundamentals of learning the MATH language.

-Subtraction

Example
Code:

*MATH*
6
-
2
=4
*/MATH*

Subtraction is exactly like addition, except, you subtract.
The 6 in the code is the individual maximum.
The 2 in the code is the individual maximum.
The - is the is our property, or function in the equation.
